2012 Comet Yearbook Senior Ad Sales
The best gift you can give a graduating senior is a gift of memories that will last a lifetime. Order a senior ad for your special class of 2012 senior.
Whether you are a parent, sister, friend or cousin, there is no better way to express your feelings and show your appreciation to the senior(s) in your life than with a "Love, Congrats or Good Luck" ad. Include your personal message and photographs to create a memory that will last a lifetime.
Like last year, all ads will be sold in ninths. For quality reproduction, the Comet staff prefers to produce the ads for you. Make a rough sketch of your ad and let us scan in the photos and typeset the words.
When we finish designing and laying out your ad, the draft will be sent to you for approval. Pre-designed ads will not be accepted without prior approval from yearbook editors and/or George Edwards.

All ads must be prepaid by cash, check, debit/credit card or money order. Visa, MasterCard and American Express will be accepted.
Make checks payable to Austin High Publications.
Ads and payment can be dropped off in room 335, or in Mr. Edwards' mailbox in the second floor office.
Submit prints for us to scan or digital image files. Your photos will never leave Austin High and can be picked up in room 335 after March 30, 2012.

Senior Ad Guidelines
In accordance with the Austin Independent School District guidelines and Texas law, ads that depict, refer to or involve illegal activities will not be accepted.
Collages will not be accepted. If you have a specific arrangement for the photos, please turn in a small sketch depicting the layout you would like.
It should go without saying, but the following criteria must be met for an ad to be published in the yearbook:
- No references or photos related to or showing alcoholic beverages.
- No references or photos related to drug use or anything drug related.
- No references or photos related to the smoking of cigarettes, cigars and/or other tobacco products.
- No references or photos with gang symbols or gang related activities.
- No references or photos with sexual harassment (ie: degrading name(s) or suggestive material).
- No references or photos with negative comments concerning race, religion or groups of people.
- No references to rude or suggestive song lyrics.
- No ads will be accepted that contain cut up pictures. The yearbook staff will size the pictures in the ad
We reserve the right to edit or reject inappropriate ads!
